Course Instructor:
Rebecca Kullback, LCSW-C, is a psychotherapist, trainer, and co-founder of Metropolitan Counseling Associates. With over 25 years of clinical experience, she specializes in attachment-based trauma treatment, EMDR, and executive function support. Rebecca regularly trains professionals on trauma-informed care and integrative therapeutic models.
- Examine how attachment influences biopsychosocial development and shapes vulnerability to trauma.
- Distinguish trauma symptoms from other physical and mental health conditions to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment planning.
- Accurately classify trauma-related symptoms to diagnose PTSD, complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and other related conditions.
- Critically evaluate and compare evidence-based treatment protocols for assessing and treating trauma across diverse clinical presentations.
- Assess the impact of defense mechanisms, dissociation, and neurobiological responses on trauma symptoms to design effective, individualized treatment plans.
- Recognize indicators of dissociation and implement practical, evidence-based interventions to help clients reduce dissociative behaviors and support trauma recovery.
- Articulate the core principles of EMDR and demonstrate how EMDR facilitates healing from trauma.
- Examine key cultural and ethical considerations that inform safe, responsive, and inclusive trauma treatment.
- Integrate trauma-informed knowledge and skills into a personalized professional development plan to advance your growth as a trauma therapist.

Course Completion Requirements
Participants must attend the entire training and complete the course evaluation form to receive CE credit. Certificates will be emailed within 10 business days of completion.
Certificate of attendance and credits are included in the one time cost of the course.
