The Course

This immersive series blends yoga, breath-work, and mindfulness to reduce stress, build self-awareness, and foster emotional regulation. Designed for teens and young adults (ages 15–25), each session guides participants through grounding practices, movement, breath, and meditation. Offering practical tools to calm the nervous system, build resilience, and reconnect with the body in a safe, empowering way.

Liz McCarthy LMSW

Liz is a clinician and educator who’s spent her career helping young people thrive. A Licensed Master Social Worker, she provides therapy to adolescents and families, and works full-time as a school social worker in Washington, DC, focusing on emotional well-being, trauma recovery, and resilience.

Clinically, she is trained in EMDR and specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression. Liz also teaches yoga and mindfulness as tools for stress management, emotion regulation and healing. She holds master’s degrees in clinical social work and secondary education, and is Nationally Board Certified in Adolescent English Language Arts.
